A Brockton teen was arrested for not only stealing a hoverboard, but also a laptop computer. Aside from the two stolen items, this story gets more interesting because the 18 year-old stuffed something down his pants when he was arrested Wednesday afternoon…

Nerilson Fontes Lopes, 18 of Brockton, was caught holding a hoverboard and a laptop and had hundreds of euros stashed down his pants when he was arrested and charged with breaking into two homes.

According to WCVB 5, the teen was charged with two counts of felony of breaking and entering during the daytime and concealing stolen property and larceny over $250. He also had an outstanding warrant.

Brockton Police received a call around 12:25pm Wednesday about a person who saw Lopes crawling through a window into a home at 39 Anania Terrace on the south side of the city.

The witness provided a description of the teen who was wearing a navy blue jacket, blue jeans and a black winter hat.

When officers arrived, they saw the person who fit the description walking down the street carrying a laptop and a two-wheeled, self-balancing motorized scooter, also known as a hoverboard.

Lopes was also found to have stuffed hundreds of dollars’ worth of European bills and coins down his pants.
