Brockton Man Pleads Guilty to Sexually Exploiting Children
BROCKTON (WBSM) — A Brockton man pleaded guilty Jan. 18 in federal court in Boston to coercing three minors to produce child sexual abuse material.
Zaire Aquil Lodge, 46, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of receipt of child pornography.
According to the indictment, on various dates in 2021, Lodge coerced three minors into engaging in sexually explicit conduct to produce child sexual abuse material.
Lodge is scheduled for sentencing in April 2024. A federal grand jury indicted Lodge in January 2023.
The charges of sexual exploitation of children provide for a sentence of at least 15 years and up to 30 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000.
The charge of receipt of child pornography provides for a sentence of at least five years and up to 20 years in prison, at least five years and up to a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000.
