Elderly Driver Injured in Attleboro Rollover Crash
ATTLEBORO (WBSM) — An elderly driver was taken to the hospital following a rollover crash in Attleboro Sunday afternoon.
According to Attleboro Fire Chief Scott T. Lachance, the department responded at 4:52 p.m. on August 3 to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the 600-block area of Washington Street.
Firefighters arrived to find a single vehicle overturned on its roof, along with three snapped utility poles.

The elderly driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, had been pulled out by a bystander prior to the fire department’s arrival.
The driver was treated at the scene before being taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital. Lachance said the driver’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation by Attleboro Police.
