Selectmen Hear Complaints About Fairhaven Shipyard
Work being done on Fairhaven’s waterfront was the center of a discussion Monday night before the town’s Board of Selectmen.

Residents living near the Fairhaven Shipyard outlined concerns about noise and pollution coming from the Shipyard, and disrupting their neighborhood.

But owner Kevin Mclaughlin defended the work at the Shipyard.

Selectmen said they would continue to follow the matter, but they advised the residents to work with the Mass. D-E-P, the E-P-A and the town’s Board of Health to resolve the issues.
