NEW BEDFORD - Over 10,000 Eversource customers on the Southcoast remain powerless after Tuesday's powerful Nor'easter.

As of 7 a.m., just about 14,000 homes and businesses from Westport to Wareham were still in the dark, with over 5,000 without power in Wareham and over 5,000 without electricity in the Tri-Town area.

Eversource says Tuesday's storm was so intense, it hampered restoration efforts. It may take days for power to be completely restored.

Eversource urges residents to stay clear of downed power lines and report them to 9-1-1. Outages can be reported online at Eversource.com or by calling 1-800-592-2000.
