There will be at least one vacancy on the Dartmouth Selectboard next year.  Selectboard member Joseph Michaud says he will not seek re-election next spring.  Michaud is a local attorney and also a member of the Army Reserve.  After six years on the board, Michaud tells WBSM News, now seems like a good time to step aside....

Michaud says he's proud of his work on the board, and working with others to enact several measures that helped put the town on solid financial footing.  At least one potential candidate has already indicated an interest in running for the seat.  Former Selectman and State Rep. John George tells the Standard Times, he plans to take out papers to run for the seat in April.
