Fox News Issues Apology For Falsely Reporting Baltimore Shooting
24/7 News Source - Fox News is issuing an apology for falsely reporting a Baltimore police officer shot and struck a black man who was running away.
Upon hearing the news, police officials bluntly said the reports of a shooting at the intersection of North and Pennsylvania avenues are unfounded, although they say a man with a gun was arrested.
Fox anchor Shepard Smith said this afternoon that, quote, "Sounds like what happened is we screwed up."
Baltimore City Councilman Brandon Scott followed that up by saying he was concerned that some in the media are being "irresponsible," and he made a pointed reference to Fox News.
