It was another busy weekend at the White household, so busy that we found ourselves eating out a little more than we normally would.

We ended up eating out Friday, Saturday and Sunday, something we normally don't do.  Friday and Saturday we went to restaurants that we have been to before, on Sunday we discovered a "new to us" place.  We had to go to Plymouth and while we were there we found ourselves at Colony Place Mall.

While we were there I notice a restaurant called Alden Park Bar & Grill, we went in and were quite pleased with the inviting upscale atmosphere.  We sat at the bar and we were greeted by a very pleasant bartender, and ordered a couple of drinks that were on their menu, they were delicious!

We were not going to eat but we decided to order a couple of appetizers after looking at the menu, we went with their Maple Green's salad, that included mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, pine nuts, fried squash, maple balsamic vinaigrette.  They were nice enough to split the salad for us and even with the split there was plenty on the plates, it's hard to get excited about salad but compliments to whoever came up with this it was delicious!

The fried squash was warm and tasty and the dressing was like nothing I've had before.  We also split an order of Seared Tuna, served with sweet chili cucumbers, sweet soy sauce, carrot ginger sauce, crispy won tons, wasabi oil, another delicious plate!  The tuna cooked exactly the way I like it, the cucumbers complimented the tuna as well.  Because we were not planning to eat a full meal we were not going to have dessert but when we saw that they offered "Small Bites", bite sized desserts, served in a shot glass sized cup.

We went for it and ordered two Peanut Butter Pie bites and two Tiramisu bites, the Peanut Butter were delicious, the Tiramisu was ok, not great, but that didn't spoil the great time we had.  I had Shannon, our bartender bring the menu to us so I could pick my meal next time we head back to Alden Park, I may have a tough time deciding what to have it all looks amazing.  If you happen to find yourself in the Plymouth area I recommend you visit Alden Park Bar and Grill, they are located at 160 Colony Place, Plymouth you can call them at 508-830-6777.
