The grand opening of the Ye Olde Shoppe will take place on Wednesday, April 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Middleboro.

According to South Coast Today.com, the shop is located at the Middleborough Council on Aging (558 Plymouth St.) and offers clothing, jewelry, home goods, greeting cards and other accessories.

The grand opening event will include prizes and refreshments.

The hours of the store are normally Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The store is stocked by public donations.

Currently, the Middleborough Services to the Elderly is looking for clean adult spring and summer clothing and household items that are in new or like new condition.

Other items that can be donated include linens, curtains, and bedding in new condition and still in the package; jewelry, DVD’s or CD’s.

The Middleborough Services to the Elderly is also looking for volunteers to work in the shop

Proceeds of sales in the Ye Olde Shoppe goes back to seniors in our community through programs and needs of the Council on Aging. Donations may be dropped off at the front desk Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
