The Westport Police Department is thrilled to announce its first-ever National Night Out, taking place on Tuesday, August 5 at the old Westport High School.

Located at 17 Main Road, this free, family-friendly event will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering an evening packed with excitement, entertainment and community spirit.

What to Expect at Westport’s National Night Out

Residents are invited to come out and enjoy:

  • Meet-and-greets with local police officers and first responders
  • Food trucks serving up delicious bites
  • Live music and entertainment
  • K-9 demonstrations
  • Games and activities for all ages
  • Emergency vehicle displays
  • Information booths from Westport Conservation, the Fire Department, and other local organizations
  • And lastly, live DJ and music from yours truly (DJ Gazelle) and Fun 107

“This is a night to build strong police-community partnerships and celebrate the safe, welcoming town we’re proud to call home,” Westport Police said. “We can’t wait to see you there!”
