Wareham Man Struck Crossing Route 6

A Wareham man was struck Monday afternoon while crossing Route 6.
Wareham police say the 58-year-old man was in the crosswalk at the intersection with Marion Road and Swifts Beach Road when he was hit just around 2:20 p.m.
The man was Medflighted to a Boston hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver has been identified as 29-year-old Nichole Nye of marion.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
