It seemed like "Groundhog Day" on Monday for members of the New Bedford Fire Department.

Police and Fire crews were called to the Coggeshall St. entrance leading to Market Basket on two occasions Monday, responding to car crashes about two hours apart.

District Fire Chief Joseph Gioiosa says the first crash happened around 12:15pm.  The second crash happened about two hours later at the same location.

Officials say in the second crash, a man was sent to the hospital with neck and back injuries.

Gioiosa says is very rare that you see two accidents in the same location on the same day.
