New Bedford's Director of Tourism and Marketing, Dagny Ashley looks back at 2017 and previews events in the coming year.

The City Of New Bedford has wrapped up its Tourism Season for 2017, but there is still plenty to do and see in the city, according to Dagny Ashley, New Bedford's Director of Marketing and Tourism. On this week's Townsquare Sunday Program, Ashley outlines the successes of 2017: from the Portuguese Feast to the Food Truck Festival, plus a look at holiday celebrations in the Downtown and City Celebrates New Years Eve. Ashley confirms that there will be fireworks on New Year's Eve. Dagny also offers a sneak peek into the 2018 tourism season, and shares with WBSM's Jim Phillips some highlights that visitors and residents might enjoy in the New Year.
