ESPN reports that the NFL decided to fine Brady on Wednesday after reviewing the quarterback slide attempt that he made.

Ravens' safety Ed Reed, the one Brady slide into, said that Brady had reached out to him via text message, and the two of them talked on the phone about the slide. Reed was not injured on the play, and Brady has apologized.

Bernard Pollard of the Baltimore Ravens publicly said that if the NFL wants to maintain its pro-player safety attitude, they need to fine Brady for his actions. Pollard, who hit running back Stevan Ridely in the head knocking him out of the game, was unapologetic about his hit. No word if a fine is coming his way.
