That's right. Tom Bergeron, a Haverhill native, got his start right here in Massachusetts.

Bergeron began his time on the mic at WHAV-FM in his hometown of Haverhill. He returned to his former station on Wednesday, October 7 to take a little stroll down memory lane.

A Nostalgic Return to WHAV-FM

"This is the small studio where, for years, I spent 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, kicking off a 5 decade+ broadcasting career," Bergeron wrote in his Facebook post.

His appreciation for the station that started it all didn't go unnoticed.

Bergeron took in all the nostalgia during his visit, even spotting his signature on a window sill.
