Imagine working your butt off and earning $1,100,000. If some social justice wing nuts and Beacon Hill lawmakers get their way, millionaires will have to pay an additional 4% tax. Yes, an additional 4% on any amount over $1 M. That means the regular state income tax, plus a 4% surcharge on top of the regular income tax rate on the $100,000.

Baystate voters will get the opportunity to decide if the millionaire tax becomes reality at the ballot box in November 2018. If the voters say yes, what's to stop the lawmakers from saying the tax isn't enough and lowering the threshold to those earning more than $100,000?  A no vote tells our esteemed lawmakers stop spending nilly willy.
