Terrorists Now Control a Section of Seattle [OPINION]

Protesters have seized a six-block section of downtown Seatle and the radical left mayor is refusing to allow police to remove them. The police were forced to abandon a police precinct there and the protesters have set up barricades around the facility. They are demanding that Democrat Mayor Jenny Durkin dissolve the police department or resign. The protesters are also demanding free college and health care, among other things.  

The Seatle Times reports the area in the Capitol Hill section of the city has been renamed CHAZ and it is “free of uniformed police.” The Times says the police precinct that was abandoned and shuttered during violent protests over the weekend now sports a sign that says, “THIS SPACE IS NOW PROPERTY OF THE SEATTLE PEOPLE.”

Fox News reports House Judiciary Committee member Matt Gaetz (R-Florida) told Hannity Wednesday that "Antifa has now designated Seattle their capital" after the protesters declared a six-block neighborhood around the precinct a "Cop-Free Zone."

If all of this sounds like a Hollywood production, it is really happening, folks! This is the "new normal" in America. 

President Trump responded angrily to events in Seatle, tweeting out "Radical Left Governor @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before. Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped (sic) IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!"

America is under attack. Stay informed. Remain vigilant. And most importantly, get out and vote in November. The future of America is at stake and that is no exaggeration.
