Myers’ body was found in the early morning of April 30 and it was determined he had died from a single gunshot wound. At the time, the D.A’s Office said that foul play was suspected but that there was no threat to the public, nor any known connection between Myers and the high school.

Jones was ordered held without bail and he is due back in court July 18 for a probable cause hearing.
