
Taunton Boy Passes Away From Injuries Suffered in Crash
TAUNTON (WBSM) — The teen boy involved in a crash Tuesday between his dirt bike and a car driven by another teen has passed away from his injuries.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office announced today that the 15-year-old Taunton boy passed away last night. His identity was not released.
According to Taunton Police Chief Edward Walsh, the police and fire departments were called to the intersection of Somerset Avenue and Silverwood Drive at about 3 p.m. on January 21 for a reported motor vehicle crash.

Officers arrived to find the crash involved the dirt bike and a Toyota Corolla driven by a 17-year-old girl.
The boy on the dirt bike was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured, Walsh said.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, the D.A.’s Office said.
