A man has been injured in a shooting in New Bedford's South End on Wednesday night.

Three New Bedford men have been arrested following an argument and home break-in that ended with shots fired in the city's South End on Monday night.

New Bedford Police observed a person in possession of a knife larger than allowed, and further investigation revealed he also had a small amount of heroin.

UPDATE (2:17 p.m.): New Bedford Police have charged Danez Linda Spinner, 25, of New Bedford with mayhem, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
