If you hate the end of summer because it means the end of swimming season, then you need to see this house. With its huge indoor pool and so many amenities, the extravagance seems to know no end at 222 Bay Point Road in Swansea.

Listed for a cool $2.75 million – and that's after a few price cuts – the house shown by Lindsey Duckworth at Mott & Chace Sotheby's International Realty would be tops on my list of places to buy if I won the lottery tomorrow. It's waterfront property with a private dock, boasts a gym, sauna and dance studio inside, and oh yeah, there's a massive indoor pool.

The pool is clearly the selling point. The whole house seems to almost revolve around it. Most of the first floor rooms open up into the pool space with gorgeous French doors, and there's a balcony around the second floor, so many of those rooms open to aerial views of the swim space as well.

It's the views from inside the pool room that really get me. How many people can say they go swimming while still enjoying water views? You can in this house. The backyard rolls down towards Cedar Cove and the Cole River beyond, and the pool is enclosed in all glass, so you can see all that water from the water.

Perhaps that shouldn't blow my mind so much, but it does. One look at this pool space and you just want to swim in it. It really almost feels like a hotel pool area, but it would be all your own – and that's just the tip of the iceberg that is this house. It is definitely one to see to believe.
