As our lives and commerce inch back to a return to normal, each morning on The Phil Paleologos Show, Phil will spotlight a SouthCoast business leader who is fighting to continue to grow even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Today, Phil spoke with Ryan Rego, one of the owners of Isaksen Solar in Fall River. Rego said that his business is not quite back to completely normal, but they are certainly heading in the right direction.

One of the main adjustments that Isaksen Solar has made to its operations as a response to COVID-19 is offering homeowners quotes that are done completely virtually, including information about how much the solar project would cost them and how much it would save them.

Coming out of COVID-19, Rego said that his business is in a very strong place right now.

"We are hiring for everything," he said. "Full-time project managers, full-time sales representatives, licensed electricians, laborers, and a marketing manager. We are hiring for everything across the board."

As far as business is concerned, Rego said he sees a strong wrap-up for Isaksen Solar in the second half of 2020 and expects that to continue into 2021. He cited government incentives and rebates as the reason.

"I hate to create a sense of urgency, but the government incentives reduce as each year goes by," he said. "You'll never have a better opportunity for the government to help you pay for a solar project than right now."
