Same-sex marriage is now legal in Rhode Island. To obtain a marriage license, same-sex couples must go to the clerk’s office in the community where one or both of them live. Or, if they are from another state, they need to go to the clerk’s office in the city or town where they plan to marry.

With proper identification, they will fill out a form and pay 24-dollars for the marriage license.
