Ryan Ferreira was a firefighter in Walpole, an on-call firefighter for Dartmouth, as well as a paramedic when he unexpectedly died of an aneurysm back in 2016. The 31-year-old left behind many loved ones, including his fiancée, Leticia, and his daughter, Isabella who will soon be six-years-old.

Amanda Alcaidnho is a longtime friend of the Ferreira family, and she has coordinated a fundraiser on their behalf. For its third year, the Ryan Ferreira Craft and Vendor Event will take place in the Dartmouth High School gym on Saturday, October 20 from 9 am to 2 pm.

“There will be many raffle items, over 100 vendors, food for sale, as well as Henna, Sand Art, Face Painting for the children and Psychic and Card Readings. All proceeds from the raffle and the food go directly to the Ryan Ferreira Memorial Foundation.”

The Dartmouth Fire Department (districts one and three) will also be on site to talk about fire safety and the programs they have available. The Ferreira family will sell handmade treats like candy, chocolate covered apples, fudge, and other chocolate items.
