Romney Calls Christie Republican Party’s Future

Mitt Romney is calling New Jersey Governor Chris Christie the future of the Republican Party. 

The former Massachusetts governor who lost his presidential bid in November told a crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference yesterday that Christie could be one of many Republicans to lead the party despite Christie not being invited to the conference. 

The annual conference is held this weekend in Washington, DC.  (Associated Press)
