Rhode Island Woman Gets Four Chairs To Turn On The Voice [VIDEO]
Including Rhode Island native Sarah Potenza.
As you can see Potenza got all four judges to turn for her and even had Pharrell and Adam Levine up out of their seats.
But Potenza, who now lives in Nashville, came to the show with a clear plan. She was not swayed but the judges pleas but stuck with her gut and her game plan and chose Blake Shelton to be her coach and mentor.
Clearly Potenza wants to win over the country audience and she made the smart choice I think by going with Blake. But with steals throughout the competition and every judge wanting her for their team, who knows where she'll end up.
She wasn't the only one to get a four chair turnaround last night though. An impressive 15-year-old from upstate New York also wowed the judges...and myself.
I think Sawyer Fredericks' super soulful performance of the folk song "Man of Constant Sorrow" was my favorite audition of the night. I mean where does a 15-year-old get this much soul?!?
Both Potenza and Fredericks have a long road ahead of them, but I would not be surprised to see both of these singers go far this season on The Voice.
