Rhode Island is home to plenty of luxurious real estate, and it’s jaw-dropping to discover what these home buyers are willing (and able) to fork over for a home.

With the help of Zillow and Trulia, we tracked down the priciest home in Rhode Island. The search did not include apartments or plots of land. This was a hunt to find the swankiest house in the Ocean State.

As of April 1, that honor belongs to The Orchard.

The Priciest Home in Rhode Island Is Found in Newport

Just steps away from the Ocean Cliff Walk in Newport, you’ll find The Orchard, a sprawling estate on Narragansett Avenue that was beautifully restored in 2019.

According to the lister, Vanderbilt International Properties, The Mansion and Carriage House are offered for sale fully furnished with curated antiques, artwork, and classic furnishings.

“The interiors have been preserved to maintain the original character including moldings, marble floors, handcrafted mahogany doors, and Baccarat crystal chandeliers,” said the seller.

This beauty has two pools, a movie theatre, and a spa, and that’s not even half of it.
