Raynham Crash Claims Life of Trapped Occupant
RAYNHAM— Raynham first responders were called to a fatal motor vehicle crash on Saturday night.
Police Chief James Donovan and Fire Chief Bryan LaCivita report that the Raynham Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 491 Bradway (Route 138).
The crash involved three motor vehicles and upon arrival, responders used hydraulic machinery to extricate an adult female trapped inside one of the vehicles. The female was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton where she succumbed to her injuries.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
An adult male in the same vehicle was also transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with serious injuries.
The other individuals in two other vehicles involved in the crash were not injured.
The crash is currently under investigation by Raynham Police, Taunton Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
