Pedestrian Injured In South End Accident

New Bedford Police say a pedestrian was struck by car traveling westbound on Cove Road Sunday night in the South End.

The incident happened around 10pm near the intersection of Cove and County St.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.  No names have been released and the extendt of injuries is not known.

The Accident Reconstruction team was on the scene Sunday night.  No other information is available
