Onset Woman Charged In Attempted Robbery

Photo from Wareham Police[/caption]Wareham Police arrest a 24 yar old woman in connection with an attempted armed robbery at a D'Angelo's Restaurant on Cranberry Highway on Monday. 

The clerk told Police, a woman with pink streaks in her hair and waring a hoodie entered the restaurant and sat for about an hour before approaching the counter and demanding money.  She told the clerk, she had gun.  The clerk called for the manager, and the women fled. 

While Police were investigating the attempted robbery, an officer noticed a woman matching a description of the suspect walking near the Silver Lake Motel.  The woman attempted to run off but was captured.  Police also recovered a black pellet gun that looked like an authentic weapon. 

Twenty-four year old Kristi Ray Warren of Onset was charged with armed robbery and was arraigned Tuesday in Wareham District Court.
