One Dead After Police Involved Shooting In Braintree

One man has been killed after a police involved shooting in Braintree.

The incident took place Thursday morning during what some media outlets have described as a domestic dispute at a Division St. home.

Norfolk Country Assistant District Attorney Greg Connor told New England Cable News the suspect had a knife and wouldn't drop it.

Connor says police tried to use non-lethal tactics but those efforts were unsuccessful.

The suspect's identity hasn't been released.
