The sister of slain semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd took the witness stand Monday.

Day 18 of the Aaron Hernandez murder trial had a delayed start due to overnight snow, with much of the day's testimony centering around Sprint's cell phone systems.

Lloyd's sister, Shaquilla Thibou, was questioned by prosecutors and the defense about the last night she saw her brother. Thibou told Deputy District Attorney William McCauley after seeing Lloyd get into a silver Nissan sedan in the early morning hours of June 17, 2013, she received several text messages.

Prosecutors were able to question Thibou about the time of the text messages and what number they were sent by, but were banned from discussing the nature of the texts.
