Rob Gronkowski has given New England Patriots fans a lot to smile about over the years, but one interview in particular tapped into a joy we haven't experienced in a while: the feeling of a big win.

Gronk sat down with comedian Kevin Hart to talk about his most memorable Super Bowl appearances and Patriots fans will be happy to know that despite his success in Tampa Bay, his heart lies in New England.

Gronk Chooses New England Over Tampa Bay

"The Tampa Bay Super Bowl solidified my career. It took it to a whole 'nother level. There's no doubt about that," Gronkowski said while enjoying an ice bath on the Netflix show Cold as Balls. "But I would say the Super Bowls in New England were my favorite – especially the first Super Bowl versus Seattle."

Thank you, Gronk. You had me nervous for a second. As a lifelong Patriots fan, I have fond memories of the dynasty days, bringing home championship after championship and coming up clutch in big moments.

Reliving the Magic of Super Bowl XLIX vs. Seattle

"It was one of the best Super Bowls of all time. It was a complete team win," he said. You know the game he's talking about. It's the one with Malcolm Butler's interception. It took place on February 1, 2015, with a nail-biting finish resulting in a 28-24 win in favor of the Patriots.

The parade was very memorable, too. I remember losing feeling in my fingers and face, but it was worth it seeing the team travel down the snowy, freezing streets of Boston. At one point, Gronk leaned out of the duck boat, stretching to give as many high fives to the swarm of fans that showed up for the celebration.

Touchdowns, Edelman, and End-Zone Haymakers

"I had a touchdown going into the first half, Shane Vereen had 10 catches out of the backfield, Julian Edelman with the game winner on the whip route," Gronk added, reliving the excitement of the big day.

"On top of it, what about those haymakers I was throwing?" Gronk said. "That's what made that Super Bowl that much more special."
