Have you ever just walked into a restaurant not knowing what to expect and then be surprised at how good it is?  That happened to me over the weekend as I discovered Wicked Restaurant, now it's not local to the Southcoast but I figure if you are doing some holiday shopping and you travel to Legacy Place in Dedham or if you are in Mashpee doing some shopping you may want to check it out for a delicious meal.  We were on our way to see the Boston Pop's Holiday show and we all wanted to eat before the show so we headed to Legacy Place and found Wicked.  First thing I noticed at how nice the restaurant looked, big open and airy with comfortable seating and plenty of it they also had a Christmas tree that was upside down which I thought was pretty quirky.  Wicked Restaurant has an organic menu featuring many pizzas everything from Apple Wood Pulled Pork to Grilled Portabella and Spinach all looked delicious.  We all ordered from the sandwich menu and I have to say that it's been a long time since I've ordered a burger in a restaurant and I'm glad I did! It was cooked perfectly served on a gluten free bun with caramelized onions and mushrooms served with a side salad that was made up of field greens and a delicious balsamic dressing.  Others in my party had the turkey sandwich that they say was very tasty and one person had the Grilled Portobello sandwich and loved every bite.  It's not often you go to a restaurant for the first time and have everyone in your party eat everything on their plate, Wicked did that for us.  After dinner we ordered the Salted Caramel Banana Pizza with a crème anglaise sauce, we all shared it and found it amazing.  I plan on visiting Wicked again and can't wait to try something else off the menu.
