More Men Getting Beard Transplants

New research finds men are willing to pay up to seven thousand dollars for an instant beard transplant.

A plastic surgeon based in New York city, Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, says he used to treat a few beardless patients a year, but now he treats about three of them a week. The surgeon says, "Whether you are talking about the Brooklyn hipster or the advertising executive, the look is definitely to have a bit of facial hair."

The doctor says he performs a beard transplant by removing healthy hair follicles from a man's head and using a micro blade to re-insert them on the face. The most common requests the surgeon says he receives are for "Brad Pitt scruff" and the "Tom Selleck mustache."
