Red Sox Beards Raise Over $14,000

Over $14,000 is how much the facial hair from Red Sox stars Shane Victorino and David Ortiz just went for at auction.

Gillette donated $100,000 to the One Fund as they received a shave at the razor company's headquarters right after the World Series. The "Globe" reports Victorino's beard scruff went for almost $3,800 on eBay. Ortiz' sold for close to $11,000.

The proceeds benefit the Movember Foundation promoting awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.
