President Donald Trump knows rockets, having spent time with North Korean dictator Kim "Little Rocket Man" Jong Un, SpaceX founder Elon Musk, and most recently, on a golf date with Roger "Rocket" Clemens. If Trump shows up in an Elton John video...

The duo of 45/47 and 21/22 teed off on Saturday.

The Houston Chronicle reported, "The result of that meeting was a very long post Sunday morning by the president on his social media platform Truth Social. In the post, Trump demanded that Clemens be enshrined in the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame 'NOW!'"

Trump posted, "Roger Clemens was easily one of the few Greatest Pitchers of All Time, winning 354 games, the Cy Young Award seven times (A Record, by a lot!) and played in six World Series, winning two!"

"People think he took drugs, but nothing was proven. He never tested positive, and Roger, from the very beginning, totally denies it," Trump wrote.

Clemens was an 11-time All-Star as well. He had 4,672 strikeouts in his career.

Fox News reported, "He was alleged in the Mitchell Report to have used anabolic steroids during his career. He was also found not guilty of six counts of lying to Congress in 2012."

Clemens insists he never used steroids, but the allegations were enough to keep him out of Cooperstown.

Clemens' career began with the Boston Red Sox in 1984, where he remained for 12 years. He struck out an MLB record 20 batters in a single game – twice.

After leaving Boston in 1996, Clemens pitched for the Toronto Blue Jays, the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros before returning to the Yankees, where he won his only two World Series rings.

Under National Baseball Hall of Fame rules, Clemens is no longer eligible for enshrinement via the traditional ballot route; however, an ERA Committee could decide to include him.

"He (Clemens) and his great family should not be forced to endorse this stupidity any longer!" Trump posted.
