LAKEVILLE (WBSM) — Authorities are investigating after a 66-year-old Lakeville man was killed in a crash Saturday night.

Police Respond to County Road Collision

According to Lakeville Police, officers responded to the area of 164 County Road at about 7 p.m. on October 18 for a report of a two-vehicle crash. They arrived to find the crash had occurred on County Road between Highland Road and Freetown Street.

The 66-year-old victim was the driver of one of the vehicles. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity was not released.

Other Vehicle’s Occupants Suffer Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

The driver and a passenger in the other vehicle were taken to a local hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Crash Under Investigation

The crash remains under investigation by Lakeville Police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the State Police Crime Scene Services Section, and state police detectives attached to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.
