Investigation Underway In Dumpster Explosion

An explosion inside a South End dumpster remains under investigation.

The explosion outside 84 Gifford Street happened around 4am.

There is no report of injuries, but police and fire crews responded to the scene, and the State Fire Marshall's office was contacted.

A Fire Department dispatcher says the scene was cleared just after 8:30am.
