Gunshots Fired at Monte Park in New Bedford

New Bedford Police were alerted to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Acushnet Avenue and Russell Street, and officers found evidence of shots fired.

Police responded to Monte Park on Sunday night around 11 p.m., according to police department spokesman Lt. Nathaniel Rodriguez. The incident is under investigation. There were no reports of injury or property damage.
