Dartmouth Police have arrested a homeless man after a neighbor reported seeing the suspect in a vacant house.

During questioning by Police on Monday, 53 year old Thomas Ramos said he had purchased the property, and in fact had keys to all the locks.

According to Det. Kyle Costa, Police then contacted the realtor responsible for the sale of the house, who confirmed that Ramos did not belong there.

The realtor also said he is familiar with Ramos and he has changed locks on other properties in the past and claimed to live there when questioned about it.

Ramos is being charged with breaking into a building, and malicious destruction of property.
