On May 27, based on evidence developed through his investigation, Trooper Smith obtained an arrest warrant charging 26-year-old Jade Stanton of Fall River with leaving the scene of a crash causing serious injury and related charges.

On May 31, Trooper Smith spotted Stanton getting out of a car on Orange Street in Fall River.  She was placed under arrest and transported to the Dartmouth Barracks for booking.

Stanton was arraigned Wednesday in Fall River District Court. State Police say the vehicle shown above is a surveillance photo of the SUV allegedly driven by Stanton in the crash.
