Freetown Woman Killed in Dartmouth I-195 Crash

DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — A Freetown woman was killed in a single-car crash on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth early Saturday morning.

Massachusetts State Police said the crash occurred before 3:30 a.m. in the area of mile marker 21 on the eastbound side. Dartmouth Fire and EMS also responded to the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped as a result of the crash and had to be extricated. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. She has been identified as Crystal Mullens, 36, of Freetown.

A passenger in the vehicle suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Authorities said the crash remains under investigation. No further information has been released.
