Fatal Pedestrian Accident On Sawyer Street

New Bedford Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident early Saturday evening at Sawyer and Myrtle Streets.

Police say an elderly person was struck by a vehicle around 6pm.

The Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene shortly after the incident. Further details have not been released.
