Dartmouth Man Killed in New Bedford Crash
NEW BEDFORD — A Dartmouth man is dead following a crash involving two vehicles in New Bedford early Tuesday morning.
The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says a Toyota Corolla and a Chevy Cruze collided at the intersection of Kempton Street and Brownell Avenue just before 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
David Dos Santos, 39, of Dartmouth, was pronounced dead at the scene. Gregg Miliote, spokesman for the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, says Dos Santos was the driver of the Corolla.
The driver of the Chevy Cruze, a 27-year-old New Bedford man, was taken to an area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. He has since been released.
No charges have been filed.
The accident is under investigation.
