Fall River Man Arrested on Gun Charges

FALL RIVER — A Fall River man is arrested and an illegal firearm seized following the execution of a search warrant Wednesday.

On March 17, the Fall River Police Vice and Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at 218 Lowell Street, Apartment 1W. There, they found a Polymer 80 9mm pistol, a 9mm magazine with 33-round capacity, and seven rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Police arrested the target of the search warrant and resident of that address, Jamal King, 34. King is charged with possession of a firearm with an LTC/FID card; possession of ammunition without an LTC/FID card; and possession of a large-capacity firearm without an LTC/FID card.
