
Fairhaven Police Arrest Man With History of Vehicle Break-Ins
FAIRHAVEN — Fairhaven Police have arrested a vandal accused of breaking into cars Tuesday night.
In a post on their Facebook page, Fairhaven Police say they responded to a report of a suspicious male observed in North Fairhaven at approximately 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Upon arriving at the scene, police arrested 31-year-old Jamie Spangler for stealing from unlocked vehicles.
Spangler had previously been arrested for the same crime in Fairhaven in September 2016 and January 2017.
He is being held with a bail set at $500.
Fairhaven Police encourage any residents who were a victim of a car break Tuesday night to contact them to be added to the report as a victim. Police also recovered some of the stolen property and may be able to return it its rightful owners.
