FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) —The wait is almost over, as Mirasol's Cafe has officially announced an opening date for its Fairhaven location and it's set for next week.

Back in 2022, plans were first announced that the Dartmouth-based business was opening up its third location on the SouthCoast.

With the original one in Dartmouth and an express location in New Bedford, now it's time for Fairhaven to get its own CHiPPi fix.

The long wait has gone from groundbreaking moments through the multiple months of its building process. Located next to the strip mall that houses Family Dollar and O'Reilly Auto Parts, the site has been under construction for the past two years.

Now, a grand opening date has officially been announced for Wednesday, September 11, at its 21 Peoples Way location.

Mirasol's in Fairhaven will offer the same food items as the original Dartmouth location, with a full menu available. A more extensive dining area inside the cafe is also expected with the new build.

New additions include a drive-thru, something Dartmouth customers have always wished for but Fairhaven will be the ones to receive. Speaking on behalf of everyone who needs a quick pick-me-up, this addition will definitely be appreciated during that morning commute.

Although Mirasol's isn't looking to become a chain, it has become a beloved spot on the SouthCoast.

More details will be announced about the Fairhaven location as it continues gearing up for the opening.

In the meantime, you have a few more days to get your coffee fix at the Dartmouth location before Mirasol's 3.0 is officially open for everyone to enjoy.
