Fairhaven Man Offers Shirtless Snow Removal Ahead of Storm
I’m not sure why going shirtless in New England weather is suddenly trending, but I’m here for it.
With a big snowstorm looming this weekend, the SouthCoast has gone into full winter mode. Social media storm posts, plow talk, and “how much are we getting?” debates are everywhere.
That’s when a Fairhaven man dropped a snow removal post that instantly stopped the scroll. Not because it promised the fastest service or the lowest price, but because it offered something no one saw coming: shirtless snow removal.
Fairhaven Man’s Shirtless Snow Removal Hustle Is Marketing Genius
As it turns out, this wasn’t some calculated marketing campaign timed perfectly with the storm. “I’m always doing stuff without my shirt on,” unorthodox marketing guru Nick Baptiste laughed. A buddy once posted a photo of him without his shirt on, and the reaction was immediate.
“It kind of just worked," he said, and became his shtick.
And no, this isn’t just a joke for Facebook. He said he’s actually done snow removal, landscaping, and even tree work in cold weather without a shirt before, mostly just messing around. “I’ll joke and say I’m showing guys how to work,” he said.
Yes, People Actually Asked for It
Once the post took off, curiosity kicked in. “A couple of my buddies asked if I’d really do it shirtless and said they’d pay extra,” he admitted, because of course, once the internet smells chaos, it leans in.
A Crew That’s Been There From Day One
His crew is small, local, and loyal. One of them is his 79-year-old dad, George Baptiste, who’s still out there hustling. “He keeps it pushing,” he said proudly. Another is a close friend, Christian Andrade, whom he’s known for more than 20 years.
“I’ve had guys come and go, but those two have been with me from the start," Baptiste said.
Keeping It Simple — Just Message Him
With snow on the way, booking doesn’t get more straightforward. If you need help, just message him on Facebook. No apps, no forms — or shoot him a text (508) 971-0259. Prices range from $60 to $100 depending on the size of the job. After all, this "motley crew" is old school: shovels, snow blowers, and a whole lot of all-American muscle.

To top it all off, it also happens to be Nick Baptiste’s birthday today (January 23). A brilliant Facebook post, snow on the way, and steady work rolling in? Not a bad way to celebrate a New England winter.
