Fairhaven’s Brick Pizzeria Napoletana Has Permanently Closed
FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) — After nearly 10 years of serving up wood-fired pizzas, Brick Pizzeria Napoletana has closed its Fairhaven location.
Brick owner Jeff Goggin sent out an email to the pizzeria’s mailing list this morning alerting customers that the restaurant has closed.
“Dear customers and friends, we’ve struggled to think of the ‘right way’ or ‘best way’ to say this but unfortunately our 10 years in Fairhaven at the Stop & Shop Plaza location has come to an end,” Goggin wrote. “We held out until the very last moments and beyond in hopes we could figure out a way to stay that would work for everyone.”
Goggin went on to write that he and his staff “feel like we are letting down our Fairhaven Faithful and that is the part that hurts the most.”
He noted that the Brick locations in New Bedford and Dartmouth will remain open, and Fairhaven staff members will likely be reassigned to those shops.

Brick first opened in Fairhaven in the spring of 2015, the second location for the pizzeria after the success of its first shop in downtown New Bedford.
Fairhaven customers loved it not only for its delicious pizzas, but also because the wood-fired ovens allowed them to be ready in 90 seconds. Brick also had a community focus, such as its annual sale of pink cannoli to benefit breast cancer research.
“We thought we were just going to make some brick oven wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas but didn’t realize we would end up making so many new friends and wonderful memories that won’t be forgotten,” Goggin wrote. “Thank you so much for being a part of our Brick Fairhaven lives.”
